Astro Turf

Hard ground, old astroturf, concrete under carpet – that's turf territory. At ProSoccer UK, Turf football boots (TF) use hundreds of tiny rubber studs to give you grip without bite.

The outsole is the story. Short, dense, rubber studs – not blades, not cones. They don't dig in, they don't grab. You get predictable traction on hard, dry surfaces where FG would slip and AG would still feel harsh. Turf soles also add a thin layer of foam or EVA underfoot, so your joints don't take a beating on shallow pitches.

Upper doesn't matter as much as the soleplate – but we'll help anyway. Speed boots (Mercurial, F50) stay narrow; control boots (Copa, Tiempo) run wider. Pick your touch, but never pick the wrong soleplate.

Hard rule from us: Turf is for hard artificial surfaces, indoor courts, or dry, shallow astro. Not for wet grass (no traction) and not for deep 3G (AG is better). True to size works for most.
